Stewarts Horse Camp located on Highway 1 (1/4 mile) North of Five Brooks Trail
Head. Last year we had a wonderful time and camped at Samuel P. Taylor
Park which was wonderful, however there was difficulty getting rigs that
were more than a three horse trailer into the park and this there is no
availability for horse camping, they are completely booked, so we are going
to be camping at Stewart's Horse Camp. Detailed info is listed
here. Please RSVP to
Spring after you have made your reservation with Stewart's Horse Camp.

Spaghetti Feed
The Annual Jr. Spaghetti Feed was held on March 12, 2010 at
our Clubhouse. We had 12 Jr. members’ participate this year. As usual, we
had an awesome turn out. The kids cleaned the clubhouse a few days before,
set up the tables and chairs and the room was festive. The adults decided to
serve while the kids sold raffle tickets and set up for the cake walk. The
Jr. members joined together to help clean-up and got the clubhouse back to
way it was.
I would like to thank all the Jr.
members who participated. You all did a great job with the event and it was
nice to new kids welcomed into our club. You all worked together to make it
happen.
I would like to thank Bev Hampton for
stepping up to the plate to get our heater working a few hours before the
event. The clubhouse got so warm inside that we hard to turn the heater off.
We were uncertain about the weather so a
few of us brought out some awnings and Susan Evans brought her outside
heater. The male adults enjoyed that the most.
Thank you all who donated to our raffle.
We had over $400.00 in raffle items. I couldn’t believe all the nice items
that were donated.
Thank you, Anna Hernandez

Sunshine person, in years past
we have had a member of our club that was our "Sunshine" Person, this person
was responsible for sending note cards to members when tragedy struck,
whether it be with a family member or a beloved animal. I, Spring
Krogue, have volunteered to be the sunshine person, if you know of a member
that has suffered a tragedy, death, hardship or anything that would require
a thoughtful note to be send please click the link in the header above
"Sunshine Need" and inform me of the person, I will do my best to send a
appropriate message to the member on behalf of Circle D Horsemen and when
appropriate, flowers.
If a club member would like to
sell items during Circle D events they are to do so outside of the club
house and all items must be removed by the person at the end of the event.
At the end of each season all
of the ads on the bulletin board will be removed and new ads can be placed
at the beginning of the new season.

show coupons that are distributed throughout the year, kitchen, tractor,

quotes for leveling our arena and installing drainage. She is awaiting
one more quote and we should be able to vote on a quote at the March

for discussion, votes were made on each change and the updated by laws will
be emailed to every member.
